Description:

Design, develop and implement web based business application/systems for the Insurance Commission according to its existing Microsoft based software development standards. |
|
Skills:
|
-
With atleast 2 to 5 years experience working on ASP classic, Visual Basic, Java scripts and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
-
Able to design and develop T-SQL and stored procedures.
-
Able to perform and document the following MSSQL database administration procedures:
-
Transferring Data
-
Replicating Data
-
Maintaining database and ensuring its availability to users
-
Controlling privileges and permissions to database users
-
Monitoring database performance
-
Database backup and recovery
-
Database security
-
Able to understand and design relational database/s.
-
Knowledge on .NET and latest Microsoft technologies is an advantage.
-
Must be disciplinary, punctual and a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:
|
-
To be primarily responsible for maintaining/developing program code and will be a part of program design planning, program coding, enhancements and changes.
-
To assist, support and educate cross-functional team (IT Group) in the design, development and implementation of web based applications / systems using ASP classic, VB and Java scripts.
-
To design and develop relational database systems in MSSQL Server.
-
To design and develop T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
-
To test, debug and document existing code of applications developed both internally and externally.
-
To coordinate and collaborate with team members of the IT Group on multi-projects.
-
Must execute assigned projects in a timely manner.
-
Must report under the supervision and direction of the IT Committee head.
-
Must provide weekly/monthly activity report.
